The first transgender-led faith-based organization, established to address the unique challenges faced by transgender women and other LGBT+ individuals dedicated to promoting acceptance, advocating for policy changes, and providing resources and support to ensure that all individuals can experience the fullness of their faith and identity.
About Us
Founded in 2022 and guided by principles of love, justice, and equality, TAYCOF offers a variety of programs and activities designed to nourish the spiritual lives of LGBT+. These include; inclusive worship services, counseling, support groups, educational workshops and trainings, social events, engaging in advocacy and outreach efforts to promote equality and acceptance within the wider societal contexts.
Our Projects
Achievements of TAYCOF in Supporting and Empowering the LGBT+ Community
TAYCOF fosters a supportive LGBT+ community through inclusive worship, spiritual growth, and social empowerment. It offers job training, financial literacy, and advocacy for LGBT+ rights and social justice. Education covers theology, mental health, and LGBT+ issues. Tailored counseling, transitional housing, and healthcare initiatives further support members, while interfaith efforts promote solidarity across religions.

Media Awareness Campaigns
Collaborating with Media Outlets: We are actively working with media outlets to create awareness about LGBTQ+ issues and promote acceptance and inclusion. Through partnerships with both International and local online platforms, we are amplifying the voices and stories of the LGBTQ+ community, raising awareness about the challenges they face, and advocating for positive change. These collaborations involve interviews, feature articles, op-eds, and social media campaigns that highlight the experiences, struggles, and achievements of LGBTQ+ individuals, helping to combat stigma, discrimination, and misinformation. By leveraging the power of media, we are sparking conversations, challenging stereotypes, and fostering greater understanding and empathy within society.
